About Lori B. Levy

Lori B. Levy is a highly experienced, ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist who has dedicated her career to helping individuals of all ages overcome communication challenges. With over 23 years of clinical experience, she has worked across a broad range of settings including hospitals, clinics, schools, homes, and private offices.

Lori earned her Master's Degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Central Florida (UCF), one of the nation's leading programs in speech-language pathology. This rigorous academic foundation, combined with years of hands-on clinical work, has equipped her with the expertise to treat a wide variety of speech and language disorders.

In addition to her core speech therapy credentials, Lori is trained in the Beckman Oral Motor Intervention Program, a specialized approach to feeding therapy. This training allows her to effectively address orofacial myofunctional disorders and feeding challenges that many patients face.

Her clinical experience spans disorders of articulation, language, and phonology, along with developmental disabilities, autism, and apraxia, as well as cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, stroke, cognitive impairments, Alzheimer's disease, and dementia. She treats patients across the full spectrum — from pediatric to geriatric, and from mild to severe.

Lori is fully licensed and insured in the state of Florida. Her practice provides speech, language, and occupational therapy — both in-person in the Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood areas and through online sessions for clients who prefer the convenience of teletherapy.

Her approach to therapy is both innovative and realistic, designed to motivate patients and maintain their interest throughout the treatment process. She believes that every individual, regardless of age or condition, deserves the best chance at expressing themselves to improve their overall quality of life.
